INFORMATION
Day Program
Arrive Mariefields at 9.30 am for site visit around the property. We will see Mollison’s swales, dam and his interconnected dam infrastructures. Also see the food forest with coffee trees , fruit orchard and olive trees planted by Mollison. We will walk past our new wildlife corridors and see the kolas forest where we planted 4400 koala food trees. The walk to Mariefields Outlook approx. 1km up a gentle slope.
10.30 am Morning tea of freshly baked scones, jam and cream with billy tea at Mariefields Outlook.
It was here that the bullock drays were loaded with the red cedar & turpentine trees in the early logging days of Mariefields. Here we have amazing views of the Caldera and Wollumbin & the Pinnacle. If weather is good and no rain 4-wheel vehicles can drive to the Outlook. For those who are unable to walk they will be transported up in our farm vehicles
12.30 depart Mariefields for lunch at Tyalgum pub or Flutterbies or General store

Special Overnight Accommodation Offer
We would like to make a special offer to TSGS for those who may like to stay overnight at Mariefields.We normally only rent the Australiana designed Farmstay for minimum of 2 nights However, we will make it available for 1 night to your TSGS club members with early check-in Sat and late checkout Sunday. There are 6 deluxe bedrooms with quality linen, towels and amenities etc – 4 bedrooms with king beds( these can be split into single beds) plus 2 single beds. On site catering is available if required. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 persons. The normal online cost for 2 nights based on 10 persons is $2800. Cost to club for 1 night based on maximum of 10 persons. If less than 10 persons will still be this cost.
